Our line of high quality skinning knives are made with 440c surgical stainless steel which is hardened to 58Rc. This produces superior edge holding. It can be sharpened by wet stones, ceramic rods, etc.
Ron Post has been making knives and skinning fur with this type of blade for over 20 years. Handles are made of cherry and each knife comes with a leather sheath. Sheaths are made by Ron's wife Barb. The fleshing knife comes with no sheath.
